This is my first try to write or comment on what's happening arround us. Discussing topics between us doesn't have meaning, so I thought to express on some platform. Blogger is the best platform to express yourself liberally.
Since the cricket world cup, 2019 atmosphere got heated up, M.S. Dhoni's selection & his retirement is the main point of discussion. Few are saying now he has to retire & vacant his position for a young player. Rishabh Pant has to take his seat in team India. Some are saying we will require him in our team as an experienced player & because of his captaincy experience all those points. After all this, he gets selected in the team.
The notable thing is out of 10 matches and many time Dhoni has played & supported to get a respectable total on the scoreboard. Even though his strike rate is less, but that's the demand of the situation of the match. Most of the time Rohit Sharma has been playing but middle order is completely failed to score runs & within very few runs 2-3 wickets were fallen. So dhoni has no option to play defensively & to stretch innings up to last over. Because of this, our team manages to put some run to defend. Thos 30-40 runs were crucial. The crucial thing is he was playing for a team not to save or establish his place in team like other players.
After winning major matches in the league stage, all big names have given up in crucial match like semi-final that too against chase 239 runs. When the score was 92/6, every single Indian has hope from Dhoni that he will do the thing. He did the same hi has taken match up to 47th over when scorecard was 216/8. Unfortunately, he got run out otherwise NewZealand lost hope that they could win the match. After his wicket was fallen, all have switched off the TV. That means we still have hope that Dhoni can do Miracles at this stage of his careers.
Finally, when the 2011 world cup match was in the same situation, he was the person who stood in middle with Gautam Gambhir. He has won that match for Sachin Tendulkar, but this time nobody has won the match for him...!
